We have self-centered minds which get us into plenty of trouble. If we do not come to understand the error in the way we think, our self-awareness, which is our greatest blessing, is also our downfall.”
In the quote what you said is absolutely correct but how to recognise or understand the error that we did bcoz if it happened it happens without out knowledge at times, and when we do this we do it with our unstable mindset and unknown intentions.
Self-awareness can be a blessing as well as can be a reason for errors when it comes to our decision making. Bcz our minds get driven by past experiences and beliefs.. it depends on how we think at the moment.. we recognise the error by the consequences of the choices we make. Intentions however cannot be unknown because they are yours

Powerful quote. I agree. There’s a fine line between self awareness and self absorption. I believe the difference is self-acceptance
